Defensor de origen británico nacido en Uruguay, de la era amateur y proveniente de Belgrano Athletic (1899-1902, campeón Primera División 1899), disputó el primer partido oficial para el club por torneos nacionales, por la Copa de Competencia Chevallier Boutell 1903 ante Rosario Athletic (actual Atlético del Rosario, derrota 0-5); formó la zaga junto a Robert Jackson. En 1907 tuvo participación en Central Extra, segundo equipo que el club presentó en la Copa Vila de dicha temporada.

sooo cool! this was my great great great grandfather - He was born in Fray Bentos. His father had immigrated that yr from Scotland.

EliminarHello sorry Im just seeing this, I'm in the middle of doing my genealogy and i was actually just in Fray Bentos last month and toured the factory and we went to the soccer club too and the museum! The women who worked at the museum and lived there was lovely! Such a great experience. I think he was Jaspers (Gaspar) son. A bunch of brothers left Scotland to go work at the Liebig around 1864. David, Jasper & Alexander (from what i can gather). They had a bother named William (Guillermo) who stayed back in Scotland (we think because he shows up in the United States in Census records). It's a little confusing to track because they kept giving all the kids the same name! Out of the brothers that first came over my direct relative was Alexander. They had my great grandfather who was also Guillermo Stalker but my mother said she would have known if he played soccer, also it doesn't look like him in the picture, she said he had big ears lol. My great grandfather left Fray Bentos at 12 and moved to Rosario. I will do some research and get back to you about this Guillermo!
